Situ\u00e9e entre les villages de Pfaffenheim et de Gueberschwihr, la chapelle fut fond\u00e9e au XV\u00e8me si\u00e8cle. <\/b>D\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la Vierge Marie, elle fut construite sur les lieux d'un ermitage, suite \u00e0 un voeu formul\u00e9 par une princesse, gu\u00e9rie gr\u00e2ce aux pri\u00e8res de l'ermite. Le p\u00e8lerinage date de 1483.<\/p>\n

Le site du Schauenberg constitu\u00e9 de la chapelle et de plusieurs d\u00e9pendance surplombe le village. Il est situ\u00e9 dans les bois dans le domaine domanial de Pfaffenheim. Depuis la terrasse, vous pouvez profiter d'une magnifique vue sur la plaine d'Alsace. Le site est splendide notamment par beau temps et propose une vue magnifique vers l\u2019Allemagne.<\/p>\n

Depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, des\u00a0religieuses de la fondation du couvent Saint-Marc de Gueberschwihr sont pr\u00e9sentes. Un coin restauration existe sur la terrasse.<\/p>\n
